Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr and Shatta wale is his stage name and he was formerly called Bandana .Shatta wale attended Winneba Snr High School and after he has completed re released his hits song ”Bandana from Ghana ” the song took the air wave in the year 2004 .

He later travelled to Jamaica to study dancehall and reggae. Later return to Ghana with the song ”Dancehall King ” in the year 2013 .Shatta wale featured so many big artist in Ghana like Edem, Pope Skinny,MzVee, Sakordie,Medikal,etc. Shatta wale is the Chief Executive Officer of Shatta Movement (SM) or SM4LYF.Shatta Wale also featured one of the biggest dancehall artist in Jamaica with the remix song ATM by Alkaline.

Shatta wale won several awards at Ghana and also Internationally. He also one the artist who has his own mansion and shatta wale is the only artist in Ghana with 4 million view at YouTube. Shatta Wale had a son with his fiancée Shatta Michy name Majesty .Shatta Wale had beef with some of artist in Ghana like Samini ,Yaa and others, Shatta wale produces so many hits tracks like Obordobidi,Ayo, Hosanna ,Forgetti , Take over etc. shatta wale is strong guy with a lot of energy Shatta wale can perform 200 tracks on stage without getting tired.
